The Cross of the Valley of the Fallen: GUINNESS RECORD

 

 

FRANCISCO FRANCO’S FOUNDATION SUBSCRIBES AND MAKES ITS OWN A CALL FOR THE DEFENSE OF THE HOLY CROSS OF THE “VALLEY OF THE FALLEN” AS A SYMBOL OF THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF OUR CIVILIZATION.

 

 To all Christian people around the world and to all with good faith:

 

 The history of Christianity has always been followed by persecutions against their faithful, since those which Diocletian executed to those which nowadays our brothers-in-faith are suffering at several countries with a predominant Muslim cult, passing through those conducted during French Revolution, Cristero martyrs from Mexico or those brought on by communists during this past XX century.

 Spain, “Mary’s land” as Saint John Paul II named, has been a Christian country since Saint James (Santiago apostle most common known in Spain) reached the Iberian peninsula in the first century after Christ, and has always remained in the forefront of the battle in defense of the Christianity, against the Muslim empire for eight centuries, against Turkish after and in front of the manifold heresies existed in Medieval and modern Europe later on, and in addition, has been the great evangelizer of the Orb, from Philippines to “Tierra del Fuego” (“Fireland” formerly called in English). Spain, seedbed of saints and martyrs, cannot be understood without the faith in Christ, as well as Europe. Additionally, it hasn’t passed more than a century in Spain, between years 1934 and 1939, that Christians endured one of the most exorbitant and heartless persecutions ever happened in history by hands of a tenebrous coalition composed by Socialists, Communists and Anarchists called as “Frente Popular”, adding up to 8.000 religious and thousands of secular savagely murdered, just killed and exclusively due to their faith in Christ, besides suffered the looting and destruction of a large quantity of religious worship and establishments, which caused the opening of a wound to the Spanish people that took long to be cured but, with an admirable exercise of generosity and reconciliation, it could finally get to be closed decades ago.

 As a symbol of that reconciliation and as a tribute to all victims, from each band, that suffered the consequences – in many cases losing their lives – from those dramatic past events, in 1958 the building of an impressive monumental ensemble was completed at the surroundings of Madrid city, the Valley of the Fallen, “symbol of unity and brotherhood among all Spanish people”, where was given the sepulture of more than 30.000 killed during the Civil War, victorious and defeated, and included a pontifical basilica, a reference of Benedictine abbey, an important study center of social doctrine of Church and the BIGGEST HOLY CROSS OF THE CHRISTIANITY.

 The Valley of the Fallen, from its inauguration, it is not only more than a cemetery and an impressive Catholic temple but also, essentially, represents a place of memory, reconciliation and a reminder of what cannot never again be repeated.

 From this, we make the Christian orbe world know that:

 Current Socialist/Communist/Secessionist Government of Spain has put forward a draft law to the Parliament that aims to re-signify the Valley of the Fallen complex, distortion the sense of its existence, exclusion of Benedictine community, and as the case may be, as a last instance, the demolition of the Holy Cross, just as communists associated partners have been keeping demanding for some time; in fact, the Government Deputy Chairman Ms. Calvo in recently statements to the media has not denied that this measure would be a subject matter of the thinking process.

 In light of the feeling of impotence from the Spanish Christians at this moment, we make a CALL, to all our brothers-in-faith, whatever nationality, around the whole world, to support us with your prayers and all mediatic actions needed to avoid this large sacrilege makes happen.

 A CALL that we make from the commitment of the truth that will make us free, from the commitment with justice, as highest form of human knowledge, from the commitment with history and from the commitment with cult since just from the ignorance or hate can be despised this as a legacy of all and each generations that precede us. Their lack of respect, deletion or alteration, characteristic of Barbarian, denotes the supreme boldness of the Marxist indoctrinating way of thinking.

 We are Christians, men and women of Faith, humility and charity, let’s not permit that they could destroy our millennial civilization, cradle of dignity and human progress. LET’S MOVE ON! And everyone calls up to the indifferent and all implore God his relief. The day will dawn and God is expecting us to accomplish with his mandate and our duty.

 The demolition of the monumental Cross of the Valley of the Fallen is not just a Barbarian attempt to a first order cultural asset, it is also an attempt against the fundamental pillars which Europe has been built and significates a step back in decades in the defense of freedom.

 

VALLEY OF THE FALLEN DEFENSE’S ASSOCIATION MAKES A CALL AND A PLEA TO OUR BROTHERS-IN-FAITH TO AVOID THE DEMOLITION OF THE HOLY CROSS.
